Avon Little League: The Time To Register Is Now
Avon Little League is seeking players for baseball and softball, with registration already open.
AVON, CT — The first snow of winter hasn't even fallen (though it will later this week), but Avon Little League is already accepting registrants for the 2024 baseball season.
Registration for Avon Little League baseball and softball is now open and it can be done on the league's website.
From now until Jan. 15, families signing up get "early bird" rates, with regular registration rates taking place from Jan. 16 to Jan. 31.

From Feb. 1 to Feb. 15, the rates go up further for late registration, according to Avon Little League.
The goal is to have as many children signed up as early as possible for ample planning time.

"We will not be accepting any late registrations after 2/15 to allow for ample time to form teams, find coaches, and order uniforms," wrote the league in an announcement.
"We appreciate your understanding and are looking forward to an exciting spring."
