Avon Pizzeria Hosting Benefit For Local Land Trust

AVON, CT — A local pizza restaurant is hosting a fundraiser on Thursday, June 19, to benefit a prominent Avon land preservation organization.

Amoroso's Pizzeria is donating part of its proceeds to the Avon Land Trust, a local nonprofit charged with protecting and preserving the town's undeveloped land.

The trust owns and oversees about 34 properties in Avon, with many of them being home to hiking/biking trails that serve as passive recreation for the community.

Amoroso’s Pizzeria is located at 33 East Main St in Avon, inside Old Avon Village.
