Avon Police Blotter: June 3-10, 2013

Possession of Narcotics

Benjamin Paine, 20, of 68 Tamara Circle, Avon, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of narcotics and simple trespass on June 3 at 8:17 p.m. He was also cited with a first offense of possession of less than a half an ounce of marijuana. Police arrested him near the intersection of Brian Lane and Brian Woods Drive. He was released after posting a $1,000 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear in court on June 26.

Failure to Appear

Joshua P. Gillotti, 20, of 1318 Est St., Apt. 321, New Britain, was charged with second-degree failure to appear on June 2 at 4:42 p.m. Police released him after he posted a $273 cash bond and he was scheduled to appear in court on June 19.

Assault

Hongxia Zhang, 47, of 130 Northington Dr., Avon, was charged with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct on June 9 at 5:08 p.m. Police released her after she posted a $1,000 non-surety bond and she was scheduled to appear in court the next day.

Interfering with a Police Officer

Ryan Baker, 18, 67 Juniper Dr., Avon, was charged with third-degree criminal mischief, disorderly conduct and interfering with a police officer on June 9. Police released him after he posted a $1,000 non-surety bond.
