Avon Scouts' Annual Christmas Tree/Wreath Sale Starts This Week
Avon Troop 274's major fundraiser continues every weekend through December while supplies last.
AVON, CT — The time is fast approaching to purchase your Christmas trees and wreaths and Avon Boy Scout Troop 274 is there to help.
The troops' annual Christmas tree and wreath sale starts this Friday, Nov. 28, at J. Fosters Ice Cream off Bailey Road/Route 44.
This is one of the biggest troop fundraisers of the year, and it will continue every weekend through December until supplies last.

It starts on Black Friday, Nov. 28, from 3 to 8 p.m., then it continues through the weekend.
The following is the sale's hours of operation:

• Thursdays from 4 to 7 p.m.
• Fridays from 3 to 8 p.m.
• Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
"We have a large selection of trees, but, as in years past, trees are sure to go fast," wrote Troop 274 in an announcement.
