Playhouse 44 and Raymour & Flanigan, 15 Waterville Road, Avon, have partnered to create one of the most distinctive and yes, comfortable evenings of music you can imagine.

On Thursday evening, Sept. 12, eight balladeers from the area and from around Connecticut will play original songs and favorites as part of a program called "September Serenaders at Raymour & Flanigan." It will take place from 6 to 8 p.m.

The event is free (with an optional donation to help support Playhouse 44).

However, because of space limitations, those interested must go to the following website to register in advance: https://playhouse44.org.

Raymour & Flanigan is putting aside space for this night of acoustic music and registration will no longer be accepted once capacity is reached.

Optional donations can be made online or at the event.

Playhouse 44 is a relatively new theater group out of Avon that formed from the ground up. It hosted its first performances earlier this month at Avon High School.
