AVON, CT — The Avon community's active theater group is hosting a public forum on Wednesday night to get input on future productions and what folks are interested in seeing or doing.

Playhouse 44, an all-volunteer, not-for-profit community theater and performing arts group, is hosting a community meeting at the Avon Free Public Library on Wednesday, Jan. 22, at 7 p.m., in the library's community room

The library is located at 281 Country Club Road, Avon.

There, guests will be able to discuss some of Playhouse 44's upcoming plans and activities.

"In 2024 we put on an original play and sponsored an acoustic night, a storytelling night, and a holiday concert," wrote Playhouse 44 in an announcement. "Join us for news about our 2025 agenda."

That includes a second night of storytelling, an original comedy production, a special event, and other ideas.

"We’ll also discuss an opening on the board of directors, vote on the storytelling topic, discuss the kinds of roles we’ll seek for our new production, and more.
