Boys' Tennis Teams Set To Embark On CIAC State Tournament Competition

HARTFORD-TOLLAND COUNTIES, CT — The days of players jumping over the net after a tennis victory are certainly passe, but 21 high school teams from Hartford and Tolland counties still have a chance to experience the exhilaration of winning a state championship.

Brackets for the Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference (CIAC) boys tennis tournaments were released Thursday. Avon is the only team from the region to earn a No. 1 seed, with Farmington drawing the No. 2 seed in its division.
