Children/Teen Book Sale Is This Weekend In Avon
Proceeds benefit the 'Friends of the Avon Free Public Library,' which supports library activities.
AVON, CT — Last weekend, the Avon Free Public Library hosted a successful book sale for the community's adult readers.
This weekend, it's the kids' and teens' turn.
The library on Saturday, Oct. 25, is hosting its annual "Kids & Teen Book Sale" at the library, located at 281 Country Club Road, Avon, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

While no children's strollers are allowed (to ensure room for everyone), there is also no admission fee to this event.
Up for grabs are myriad children's books, picture books, hardcover and paperback books that are popular with kids, tweens, and teens.

In addition, the sale will feature DVDs and CDs.
All major credit cards are accepted at the sale, which is being hosted by the Friends of the Avon Free Public Library.
