Chocolate, Music Mix Perfectly At Avon Church's Valentine's Event

AVON, CT — Valentine's Day may be Friday, but the love and chocolate don't end there in Avon.

"For The Love of Song and Chocolate," will take place Sunday, Feb. 16, at 3 p.m. at the Avon Congregational Church, 6 W. Main St., Avon.

"Join us at the Historic Meetinghouse at Avon Congregational Church for a delightful afternoon including a concert of love songs and sing-alongs from the Great American Songbook and Broadway," wrote the church in an event announcement.

Of course, the song part is enough to get folks to show up, but what follows next isn't too shabby either.

The concert will be followed by a "bountiful chocolate buffet."

The cost is $15/adult, $7/children, pay at the door, cash or check only. No reservations are necessary.
