AVON, CT — It's the last week of January and if your natural Christmas tree is still up, well, you have only a couple more days to get it out to the curb.

The Town of Avon Tuesday reminded residents that the last day public works crew members will pick up discarded natural Christmas trees is Friday, Jan. 31.

"Please make sure your tree is at the curb if you wish for the town to pick it up,"wrote the town.
