Gifts of Love has bought a 34 East Main St. building to serve as its new location come summer.
Fishburgh Associate sold the building where the former The Wool Connection is to Gifts of Love on May 13.
"We have an opportunity since there's such a long-term commitment to this community to find a permanent home," spokesperson Carolyn McGrattan said.
Gifts of Love is grateful to the former Old Avon Village owners after almost 10 years of being at 35 East Main St. McGrattan said that they've been very supportive. After Gifts of Love's previous building in Simsbury burned down in 2004, the former Old Avon Village owners allowed them to rent the Avon space below market price.
