Paying Your Tax Bill In Avon, What You Need To Know

Tax bills went out June 12-13, in Avon, with taxpayers having until July to pay up without being penalized.

AVON, CT — Tax bills went out June 12-13 in Avon and if you haven't paid already, there's still plenty of time.

That's because the town's real estate and motor vehicle property tax bills can be paid throughout the month of July (without risking late fees), and the town's collector of revenue has a few things for people to keep in mind.

Online bills will have a $0 amount until July 1, when the actual bill will appear. Folks looking to pay early, however, can do so online.

In addition, bills can be paid for in person, by mail, the town's drop box at its municipal facility, andonline, among other means.
