Avon police are investigating a domestic violence incident that resulted in a discharged firearm.  On Monday at 9:37 p.m., police charged Catherine Gillen, 61, with unlawful discharge of firearms. She and Joseph J. Gillen, 67, were both charged with second-degree reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct. Police arrested them at their 2 Willow Ln. home in Avon.
