Save Money And See Broadway Via Avon Library Event
The virtual forum 'Broadway on a Budget' is slated for Friday, June 6.
AVON, CT — The neon lights may shine bright on Broadway, but Broadway itself can also drain your bank account, given the high cost of attending a show there.
But the Avon Free Public Library is hosting a virtual event on Friday, June 6, that just might help.
Called "Broadway on a Budget,"the library is hosting area theater enthusiast Brian Stoll, who will discsuss a little bit of Broadway history as well as how one can see a show without having to lose an arm or a leg.

The free, virtual event will take place at 2 p.m.
Stoll will discuss all things Broadway, beginning with the history and importance of the Broadway Playbill as well as touch upon some of the reasons why audience members choose to collect these memorable theatre keepsakes.

Lastly, he will share a variety of money-saving tips on how to see Broadway shows for under $60 a ticket.
