Previous public office, appointive or elective: Elected to Berlin Town Council in 2023

Why are you seeking this office?

To bring clarity, equity, and open dialogue to Council deliberations, where I can apply mediation and conflict resolution approaches to streamline decision-making and community interaction.

The single most pressing issue facing my constituents is ____, and this is what I intend to do about it: The single most pressing issue facing my constituents is restoring trust and clarity in how decisions are made at Town Hall, and this is what I intend to do about it: I will continue to bring my skills as an attorney and mediator to ensure open dialogue, fairness, and transparency in Council deliberations.

By focusing on equity and clear communication, I will help residents feel heard, bridge differences, and build consensus so that Berlin can move forward together.

What are the major differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?

The major difference is that I bring legal expertise and mediation skills that help resolve conflicts and build consensus. My record on the Council shows I listen, foster open dialogue, and keep decisions fair and transparent.

What other issues do you intend to address during your campaign?

I look forward to continuing my focus on improving transparent and responsive government, supporting balanced economic growth, and ensuring that seniors, families, and young people all feel included in Berlin’s future.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence that you can handle this job?

Serving my first term on the Town Council, I’ve applied my legal and mediation skills to resolve conflicts and make fair, transparent decisions.

My work as an attorney has proven I can analyze complex issues and deliver practical solutions, and I’ve been an outspoken advocate for more effective school budgeting during budget season.

What is the best advice anyone ever gave you?

The best advice I’ve ever received is to always do the right thing, even when no one is watching—because integrity matters most when it isn’t on display.
