• Man With Toddlers In Vehicle Rams 3 Cruisers While Fleeing Berlin Police: PD (patch.com) — Berlin residents are learning more about a dangerous police pursuit in town after officers used a tire deflation device and boxed in a familiar Cadillac, only to discover two toddlers inside. Police say the driver rammed three cruisers while trying to escape and had outstanding warrants tied to earlier pursuits in Berlin and Newington. The department is stressing its commitment to cracking down on reckless driving on local roads. 
• Berlin Home Invasion Victim Flung Off Car Trying To Stop Burglars: Police (patch.com) — Neighbors in Berlin are reacting after a late-night home invasion on New Britain Road ended with a resident thrown from his own car while trying to stop two suspected burglars. Police say the men forced entry through a window, stole the victim’s vehicle and wallet, and were later arrested after Hartford officers stopped the car. Berlin investigators also linked the suspects to use of the victim’s credit card shortly after the theft.
