Occupation: Retired

Family: My wife, Laurel, and I have two children.

Does anyone in your family work in politics or government? No

Previous public office, appointive or elective: State representative from 1977 to 1983. Berlin Town Council since 2014

Why are you seeking this office?

To promote education, encourage fiscal responsibility, and public safety. Als,o to protect the democratic way of government.

The single most pressing issue facing my constituents is ____, and this is what I intend to do about it: Rising taxes.

I intend to work for fiscal responsibility while providing essential services to the residents of Berlin.

What are the major differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?

Experience. I believe my 49 years of public service allow me to be able to handle any issues that arise.

What other issues do you intend to address during your campaign?

Education and public safety.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence that you can handle this job?

General knowledge of preparing a town budget.

What is the best advice anyone ever gave you?

Be yourself.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about yourself and your positions?

Being retired, I believe I can devote the proper amount of time to get the job done.
