The Berlin Bears A team improved their record to 3-2 with a 29-20 victory over Bloomfield Sunday afternoon.
Jack Lynch threw first half touchdown passes to Nathan Comstock and Mitch Maslowski. Lynch also ran for a first half score. Jack Hamel scored the final Berlin touchdown with a 20-yard second half run. Ricky Nappi and Nick Zuk ran the ball well for the Bears throughout the game.
The Berlin defense shut out the high-scoring Bloomfield offense in the second half. Playing well on defense was Nick Lojko, Danny Labbadia, Matt Stapell, Spencer Duke, JJ Moss and Steven Bienkowski.
The Bears play Sunday at 11 a.m. at Sage Park against East Hartford.
