Biggest issues facing the school system: The recently passed Education Reform Act will have a major impact on our schools. Administrators, teachers, and students will experience significant change in the way in which education is delivered. Common Core State Standards, Smarter Balanced Assessments, increased accountability, new teacher and administrator evaluation procedures are just a few of the changes that are currently being initiated.

The Board of Education must be cognoscente of the impact that these changes will have on our educators and students. As a board member I would hope to support our administrators and teachers as they work through this changing educational environment.

If Berlin voters should chose to elect me they can be assured that I will listen to their concerns, weigh their advice, and advocate for their children
