Berlin Fair Dodges The Rain And Entertains
But fairgoers were still talking about the bull incident from Friday.
The forecast was for rain Saturday and if you have lived in Berlin for any amount of time you know it's very rare for a Berlin Fair to escape three days without any rain.
Saturday, however, only saw a few drops of rain and some strong winds as well as dropping temperatures as the Fair attendance remained brisk. The sweatshirt and jacket concessions looked busy as the colder temperatures came in around dinnertime.
While many braced for possible rain the hot topic at the Fair Saturday was still a scary incident that happened in the bullring on Friday. A woman playing in a game called "The Ring of Fire" was knocked over and briefly unconscious by a charging bull. The bull knocked down several players on the first run and then came back and bucked a young man high in the air and the woman hard to the ground.

Others asked Berlin Lions members why they would have this kind of entertainment but it seems like this was a new twist and game put on by the Xtreme Bull Riders. Bull Riding continued Saturday in the ring but "The Ring of Fire" has been shut down for the remainder of the Fair.
