Berlin Girl's Golf Improves in Win Over Manchester
Julia Kemmling is Medalist with a 38.

The Berlin Lady Redcoats Golf Team notched its second win of the season defeating Manchester 176 to 231 at Timberlin Golf Course on Wednesday.
Berlin is now 2-0 for the season. Manchester drops to 2-2.
Berlin was led by Julia Kemmling who claimed medalist honors again with an excellent, two over par round of 38. Senior co-captain Caroline D'Attilio was next for Berlin with a very well played round of 43. Ashley D'Attilio and Emily Deutsch rounded out the Berlin scoring with rounds of 47 and 48 respectively.
"It was great to drop our team score down into the 170's," Berlin coach Jim Barnes said. "I've told the girls from the get-go, if we want to repeat as state champions this is where we consistently need to be. I actually believe we are a 160's team but I will take the 176 given this is just our second match of the year.
"I was really excited about Caroline's score today. If she starts shooting in the low 40's consistently, I don't think we can be beat. And what can I say about Ms. Kemmling that I haven't said before. She just put it on cruise control, seven pars and two bogeys for a wonderful 38."
The Lady Redcoats play Newington next at Indian Hill on April 24.
