Adult programs
Basic Budgeting: April 22 @ 6:30 Need some personal finance advice? Join Angela Crow of Bank of America for some basic budgeting tips. Please contact the library to reserve a seat. This program is in conjunction with a statewide initiative called Money Smart Week.
Foreign Film Showing: April 29 @ 6 pm Showing of the film, A Separation. Please contact the library to register. Please note this film is rated "PG-13".
Book Discussion: April 30 @ 7 pm Join us for a discussion of the book San Miguel by Boyle. All welcome.
Berlin Author Joe Clifford: May 2 @6:30 pm Join the Berlin native for a discussion of his newest autobiographical novel, Junkie Love. Books will be available for purchase and signing.
Children’s Department
Storytimes are a half-hour program featuring stories, fingerplays, songs, and a short movie. Each week an early literacy skill will be highlighted. There are 6 early literacy skills: print awareness, phonological awareness, letter knowledge, vocabulary, print motivation, and narrative skills. No registration is needed for these programs.
Mondays 10:30 for toddlers ages 18 – 36 months
Tuesday 1:30 for preschoolers aged 3 - 6 years
Wednesday 11:30 for babies from birth to 18 months
Thursday 10:30 for all ages Storytime themes

Nutmeg Readers: Notify the library if your child has read all 10 Nutmeg books by April 30. The Nutmeg books are 10- titles chosen each year for children in grades 4-6. Children vote on their favorite title in the month of April. The new Nutmeg books will be available on Saturday, May 4.
Playtime – Friday 10-12 - Drop in – no registration. Weekly throughout the year. Opportunity for babies, toddlers and preschoolers to play and socialize together with parents in the large meeting room of the library.
Saturday, May 11 – afternoon film: Brother Bear a Disney animated film, 85 minute film. An impulsive boy is magically transformed into a bear. All ages. Drop-in.
