Berlin Police Add to the Ranks
A paramedic has changed careers and joined the ranks of Berlin's finest.
The Berlin Police Department welcomed its newest officer to the department this week.
James Monthei, who recently worked for Hunter’s Ambulance as a paramedic, decided to change careers and become a member of the department, according to police.
Among those attending the ceremony were Monthei’s mother Lisa and step-father Randy, and his father Thomas. Monthei was presented his badge by Chief Paul Fitzgerald.
