Berlin Police Officers Hold 'Coffee from a Cop' Event at Dunkin Donuts
Sgt. Lentini, Officer Cruickshank bought coffee and beverages for patrons as a way to thank those who frequently 'pay it forward'.

From Berlin Police Department: On Thursday, March 16, 2017, two Berlin Police Department Officers spent the late morning at the Dunkin Donuts on Farmington Avenue for a “coffee from a cop” event.
Sergeant Todd Lentini and Officer Dave Cruickshank spent an hour and a half buying coffee and other beverages for patrons of Dunkin Donuts. The Officers came up with the idea as a way to thank the patrons of Dunkin Donuts who frequently “pay it forward”, and buy coffee for the Officers in the drive thru line behind them.

The event was a big hit with the patrons and both Officers thoroughly enjoyed the disbelief of the patrons pulling up to the drive through window and being given a free beverage by a police officer.
