Berlin Seeks Area's Fastest Puzzlers For Annual Contest
Sign-ups are being sought for the third-annual Jigsaw Puzzle Contest hosted by the Berlin-Peck Memorial Library later this month.
BERLIN, CT — This time of year, when folks likely spend more time indoors than outdoors, an afternoon and a jigsaw puzzle is a good way to pass the time.
But sign-ups are underway now for a Berlin-Peck Memorial Library contest that aims to see who can put together a jigsaw puzzle the fastest.
The library on Saturday, Jan. 31, is hosting its third-annual "Jigsaw Puzzle Contest," and sign-ups have been underway since Friday, Jan. 2.

The contest will take place from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. that day at the library, located on 234 Kensington Road.
The contest pits four-person teams against each other, all putting together the same 500-piece puzzle.

The object is quite simple: See who builds it the fastest.
The winning team will get some small prizes and, most importantly, bragging rights.
As for the event, snacks and drinks will be provided.
