Library Programs Scheduled

Children invited to take part in activities.

 

Storytimes are a half-hour program featuring stories, fingerplays, songs, and a short movie. Each week an early literacy skill will be highlighted.  There are 6 early literacy skills: print awareness, phonological awareness, letter knowledge, vocabulary, print motivation, and narrative skills. No registration is needed for these programs   
          Mondays 10:30 for 18 – 36 months
          Tuesday 1:30 for 3 - 6 years
          Wednesday 11:30 for birth to 18 months
          Thursday 10:30 for all ages
          Thursday 6:30 for all ages
 
The theme for Sept. 17-20 is monkeys

Playtime –  Friday 10-12  - Drop in – no registration.  Weekly throughout the year.  Opportunity for babies, toddlers and preschoolers to play and socialize together with parents in the large meeting room of the library. 
 
Early dismissal afternoon program: Movie afternoon: Pirates: Band of Misfits rated PG will be shown at 2 p.m. on Wed. Sept 19. All ages, drop-in.
 
Berlin Fair Craft day – Sat. Sept 29 from 1-3 p.m. for grades 1 -5
Get ready for the fair by making an art project. Drop-in.
