Scary Encounter and Robbery On Mildrum Road In Berlin

There was a robbery at the top of Mildrum Road. 

Police said a young man in his 20's with curly hair knocked on the elderly woman's door around 4 p.m. Tuesday stating he was from the state Deparment of Transportation.

The man told the elderly woman they were identifying trees to be cut down on the street.  

When he got her to go out of the house and look at the trees his partner snuck into the house and stole an undetrimed amount of jewelry. Police say the man was driving a silver truck.
