Ana Garcia Tapia, 82, of Bethel, Passed Away

BETHEL, CT — Ana Garcia Tapia, 82, of Bethel, wife of Jorge Tapia, mother of Andres Tapia, Patricia J. Gursky and the late George Tapia, sister of Gustavo Garcia and Victoria Garcia, grandmother of Jessica Allen (William), Anthony Kostek, Sophia Tapia, Wolfe Tapia and Sonia Tapia and great grandmother of Elijah Allen, died on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at her home.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Anthony Maronite Catholic Church, 17 Granville Ave., Danbury. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Bethel. The family will receive friends at St. Anthony Church on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Contributions in Mrs. Tapia's memory may be made to Masonicare Home Health & Hospice, 535 Connecticut Avenue, Suite 101, Norwalk, CT 06854. Jowdy-Kane Funeral Home, 9-11 Granville Ave., Danbury is in charge of arrangements.
