Residents can drop off a variety of hazardous household items, including paints, stains, varnishes, cleaning products, pesticides, herbicides, automotive fluids, and rechargeable batteries. However, certain materials such as motor oil, antifreeze, ammunition, pharmaceuticals, and medical waste will not be accepted and should be disposed of through alternative means.

Participants are required to remain in their vehicles while workers unload hazardous waste. Items should be placed in the back of vehicles for easy access. Smoking is prohibited at the event sites.
