Bethel Neighbor's Quick Action Averts Fiery Crisis: Stony Hill Fire
Firefighters say they were also able to show the firetruck off to neighborhood kids after taking care of the situation.

BETHEL, CT — A Westview Drive neighbor acted quickly and put out a car fire before a potential crisis ensued Monday afternoon, according to a Facebook post from the Stony Hill Volunteer Fire Company.
Firefighters responded to the street for a report of a car fire already extinguished in a garage. The post indicates a neighbor with a fire extinguisher quickly doused the blaze before any further damage was done.
Firefighters on scene pushed smoke out of the garage, and were also able to show neighborhood children their set of wheels, according to the post.
