Bethel Police Charge Man With Sexual Assault Of Minor At Local Hotel

The Bethel Police Detective Bureau began its sexual assault investigation following a complaint filed by a parent.

BETHEL, CT — Police have charged a New Milford man with the sexual assault of a minor, according to a news release from the Bethel Police Department.

Police say Alhenise Rosa, 33, of Flower Hill Road was arrested and charged with second-degree sexual assault, impairing the morals of and risking injury to a child, and intimate contact with/risk of injury to a child.

The Bethel Police Detective Bureau began its investigation following a complaint filed by a parent. In the complaint, the victim alleged that the suspect had taken him to a Bethel hotel in the early morning hours, engaged in sex, and then brought him back home.

After identifying Rosa as their suspect, police issued a warrant for his arrest. Rosa turned himself on Dec. 12. He was held on $75,000 bond and taken to Superior Court in Danbury for arraignment.
