Bethel Police Foil Burglary on Nashville Road
Tip off of suspicious person helps officers stop a burglary in progress.

Bethel police received a report of a suspicious person at a Nashville Road residence on Sept. 20 and foiled an alleged larceny in progress.
Police received the report of suspicious activity shortly after 4 p.m. Responding officers found 21-year-old Brian Ramirez, of Grand Ave., New Haven, unlawfully loading appliances from the residence onto a trailer.
Ramirez was placed under arrest and charged with burglary in the third degree, larceny in the fourth degree and possession of burglary tools.
He was released on $1,000 bond with a court date scheduled for Oct. 1.
