BETHEL, CT — The Bethel Police Department is now hiring for Entry Level and Certified Police Officers.

Bethel - Certified Police Officer annual pay ranges between $53,280 - $76,363, depending on experience. The application deadline is Aug 11, 2016.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• 21 years of age by October 1, 2016
• US Citizen
• High School Graduate/ G.E.D.
• Valid US driver’s license
• NO Felony or Class A or B Misdemeanor Convictions.
• Lateral (Certified) entry requires current certification as a sworn CT Law Enforcement Officer

BENEFITS

25 year Pension (60%; 70% @ 30 Yrs) with 75% Retirement Medical Benefits, 457 Deferred Comp Program, Education Incentive and Tuition Assistance, etc.
