Bethel Republicans Choose November's Candidates Tuesday
GOP primary challenges for First Selectman, Selectman and Police Commission.
Bethel Republicans are headed to the polls Tuesday to cast their ballots in this year’s GOP primary race.
Polls will be open in the General Purpose room of Town Hall (voting Districts 1 and 4), Stony Hill Fire Department (District 2) and Frank A. Berry Elementary School (Districts 3 and 5) from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Primary voters will be choosing five candidates for the November municipal elections, including two-way races for First Selectman and Selectman and four running for three seats on the Police Commission.

The candidates for First Selectman are William Duff, who received the endorsement from the Republican caucus, and Robert Burke, who served as First Selectman from 2005-2009.
For Selectman, incumbent Paul Szatkowski faces Bob Crnic, a former Selectman candidate and founder of Connecticut Tea Party.
In addition to Hugo Greco, Anthony Rubino and Richard Kolwicz, who garnered the party endorsement for Police Commission, Kevin Gallagher is seeking one of the three ballot slots available.
