Bethel Resident Louis Bardani, Jr., 73, Passed Away

BETHEL, CT — Louis Bardani, Jr. passed away on August 20, 2016 at New Milford Hospital, New Milford, CT. Mr. Bardani was born on May 27, 1943 in Norwalk, CT, a son of the late Louis Sr. and Helen (Keyworth) Bardani. He graduated from Wright Technical High School in Stamford, CT, Norwalk Technical College, and the University of Bridgeport. Louis was employed as an accountant for the City of Norwalk for many years.

Survivors include his son: Matthew and daughter-in-law Ashley Bardani of Fishkill, NY, his daughter: Karen and son-in-law Marty Murphy of Chicago, Illinois, son: Michael Bardani of Plainville, CT, and three grandchildren: Leah Bardani, Connor Murphy, and Dylan Bardani; his ex-wife: Mary Bardani; his brother: Robert and sister-in-law Patricia Bardani, and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held at the Bethel Funeral Home, 215 Greenwood Ave., Bethel, Thursday morning at 11:00. The family will receive friends at the funeral home during the hour preceding the service, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Burial will be private, at the request of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Green Chimneys, 400 Doansburg Road, Box 719, Brewster, NY 10509. This organization was near and dear to his heart.
