Bethel Water Main Cleaning Begins Next Week

BETHEL, CT — The Aquarion Water Company will be cleaning water mains in Bethel beginning Monday, April 24, the company announced Thursday. The work will take place through Thursday, April 27, and will be done to improve mains in the Chimney Heights system.

Customers may discoloration during the cleaning, the discoloration results from temporary disturbance of water flow. Customers are encouraged to store tap water in the refrigerator ahead of time for drinking and cooking. You should delay washing clothes until the water is clear.

The work in Bethel will be done between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm daily. The following streets will be affected:
