Over the next week there are some chances for stormy weather and we'll let you know the latest on the Fourth of July weekend forecast.

The forecast over the next 7 days including the Fourth of July holiday is a bit unstable.

There will be a couple of chances for some stormy weather but again it looks like not a lot of rain is expected over the next week.

During the workweek there is a chance for some stormy weather Monday night and Tuesday and possibly early Wednesday morning.

The latest Fourth of July weekend forecast looks a bit better than it did a few days ago. Next Saturday looks like the best weather day of three as sunny skies are expected now.

The National Weather Service says next Sunday will be sunny but Weather.com predicts showers on Sunday.

On the actual Fourth of July it looks to be very warm, temps in the upper 80s to 90 degrees and partly cloudy skies, via Weather.com.

As of right now, the holiday weekend forecast doesn’t look too bad, the main issue appears to be Sunday and whether it will rain or not.

Monday: Sunshine, temps around 80 on the coast and mid 80s inland. Chance of storms late tonight in Hartford and Tolland counties.

Tuesday: Mostly cloudy around 80 degrees. A chance of storms throughout the day, but the more likely chance of storms will occur late Tuesday.

Wednesday: Early storms are possible and then the sun makes a return later in the day. Temps around 80 degrees.

Thursday: Mostly sunny, low to mid 80s.

Friday: Partly sunny, low to mid 80s.

Saturday: Partly sunny, low to mid 80s.

Sunday: Mostly sunny according to the National Weather Service with temps in the mid 80s but Weather.com mentions some rain is expected.

Fourth of July: Partly cloudy, temps near 90 degrees via Weather.com.
