Business Wants To Pay Bethel $410,000 For Land: Report

The company plans to construct a new building on the site for its business, according to a report.

BETHEL, CT — Vintage and Classic LLC or Legacy Overland has agreed to pay the town $410,000 for the purchase of a 2.55-acre parcel at 20 Trowbridge Dr. and they plan to construct a new 20-30,000-square-feet building to restore and maintain classic cars, reports the Ridgefield Press.

According to meeting minutes filed with the town, the proposed land purchase was discussed at the Board of Selectmen meeting on Oct. 17.

The selectmen approved scheduling a public hearing at 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 30 in Meeting Room A at the Municipal Center on the proposal.

Additionally, the selectmen voted unanimiously to refer the sale of 20 Trowbridge Drive to the Planning and Zoning Commission for a review.
