Car Destroyed by Fire in Bethel Blaze: Report
A fire destroyed a Jeep Cherokee in the driveway of the Bethel Meadows condo complex off of Reservoir Street.

BETHEL, CT — Bethel firefighters extinguished a car fire at the Bethel Meadows condo complex Wednesday afternoon, according to The News Times.
Bethel Fire Marshal Tom Galliford told the paper that the cause of the fire is unknown and no one was hurt in the blaze.
This is the third large fire the company has responded to in a matter of weeks. On Monday, firefighters responded to a car fire on Route 53 after a 24-year-old Ridgefield man crashed into a tree and his car burst into flames. The man died as a result of his injuries.

On April 30, Stony Hill, Bethel and other local fire companies battled a condo fire in Plumtrees Heights which destroyed the structure. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
