Carter Wants to Roll Back Taxes in Connecticut
Dan Carter currently represents constituents in the Bethel, Redding, Danbury, and Newtown areas.

From Senate Candidate Dan Carter:
It has been 11 days since I was honored to receive the Connecticut Republican Party’s nomination to run for the United States Senate. It has been a whirlwind since that day.
I continue to visit Town Committees across Connecticut, talking about the issues facing all of us in Connecticut and across America. We know that our current Senator, Dick Blumenthal, has failed to represent our interests, and is far more concerned with helping to implement the failed policies of Barack Obama and Dan Malloy.

May 21st , Connecticut taxpayers will celebrate(d) a dubious honor later than any other state in the country, by weeks, our Tax Freedom Day. May 21st is the date when Connecticut taxpayers will have earned enough money to have paid all of their federal, state and local taxes and can actually begin to try to pay other bills. In 2011, when Dick Blumenthal and Dan Malloy took office, Connecticut’s Tax Freedom Day was May 2nd. After six years in office, Dick Blumenthal and Dan Malloy have managed to add another 3 weeks to the amount of time Connecticut taxpayers have to work to pay their taxes.
Unfortunately, our towns and cities have taken a big hit from the Dick Blumenthal and Dan Malloy during the six years. Just this past week, the Obama-Blumenthal-Malloy cabal put in place a policy whereby our schools, which are currently struggling under millions of dollars a year in unfunded federal and state mandates, will face further loss of federal money if they don’t make all their bathrooms transgender neutral.

I have spent the past six years fighting for Connecticut taxpayers, working to try to stop Dan Malloy and the Democrats spending spree and higher taxes. We simply can’t afford more politicians like Dick Blumenthal who say one thing, but their actions cost us more and more money.
We have a great opportunity to end Dick Blumenthal’s professional political career this November. I am fully prepared to work night and day to help retire Dick Blumenthal and return sanity to the US Senate. But I need your help. Please send a donation of $30, $50, $100 or more today and, together, we can send a message to the politicians who think the taxpayers should pay for their ego driven, wrong-headed attempts to hold on to power. We need to end this way of thinking.
Again, I am honored to be the Republican nominee and I look forward to working with you to return sanity and common sense to Washington DC.
