Bethel police arrested a Danbury man on DUI charges Sunday afternoon after he allegedly drove into a utility pole on Payne Road. Officers responded to the scene of the accident at 2:23 p.m., where they found Milton Gonzalez, 42, of Wilson Place, Danbury, reportedly under the influence. Gonzalez was charged with operating under the influence and released on bond with a court appearance scheduled for Oct. 17.
