Firefighters Sponsoring Benefit for Bethel Fire Victims: Report

10 adults and four children were displaced during a tragic fire on Greenwood Avenue in July.

BETHEL, CT — A benefit will be held for the four children and ten adults displaced by the fire on July 13 in downtown Bethel, reports the News Times. The Bethel Fire Department will host the event, which will be held at Town Hall.

A $20 donation will be accepted at the door. You can also pre-order t-shirts.

Residents are rallying to support the victims of the tragic Greenwood Avenue fire that left nine families and several local businesses displaced. Two gofundme pages have been started in support of the victims as a whole, and in support of the Giggling Pig Art and Party studio.

The building includes six apartments and two businesses and is located across from the library on Greenwood Avenue
