Giftcards from Former Bethel Restaurant Can be Used in Brookfield

Free appetizers will be served at the Brookfield eatery's grand opening.

BROOKFIELD, CT — A local eatery is celebrating its grand opening Thursday, according to the eatery's website. Agora of Brookfield, located at 834 Federal Road, will host ribbon cutting ceremony Thursday starting at 5 p.m.

The event will also also feature live music and free appetizers with a special guest.

According to a report from the Daily Voice, the eatery is owned by Juilo Cevallos, who previously owned Julliano's in Bethel. It focuses on Mediterranean, with "a little local flare," according to its website.

The Bethel Chamber of Commerce said that gift cards from Julliano's in Bethel would also be honored for the full amount at Agora.
