Grace B. Moody, 96, of Bethel, Passed Away

BETHEL, CT — Grace B. Moody, 96, of Bethel, beloved wife of the late Don Lee, passed away at her home on Thursday, with her loving family by her side. Grace was born in Richmond Hill, NY, daughter of the late Joseph and Gertrude Benziger.

She was a graduate of Danbury High School and had worked as a Dorm Mother for WesConn University prior to retirement. She is survived by six children: Kathleen Moody of Danbury, Jeanne Jennings (David) of Fruitland, ID, Jack Moody, Richard Moody (Betty) and Robert Moody (Martha) all of Bethel and Donald Moody of Plattsburg, NY, her sisters: Gertrude Brennan of FL and Dorothy and Josephine Benziger of NJ, as well as 15 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren 5great great grandchildren, 1great great great grandchild and many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Danbury, on Wednesday at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Bethel. Friends may call at the Green Funeral Home, 57 Main St., Danbury, on Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m.Contributions in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of Fairfield County, 607 Main Ave., Norwalk, CT 06851.
