The Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) is accepting applications to help fund the installation of public accessible electric vehicle (EV) charging stations throughout Connecticut. The new EV Charging Station Incentives program offers rebates for the installation of Level 2 chargers that meet program guidelines. These guidelines and an application can be found <a href="http://www.ct.gov/deep/evconnecticut" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">at the EV Connecticut website</a>. The program is open to both municipalities and businesses. Applications will be accepted through Friday, Sept. 20.
