New Fairfield Man Killed In Bethel Crash

BETHEL, CT — A New Fairfield man was killed in a crash on I-84 in Bethel early Sunday morning, State Police said.

According to police, Kurtis Liska, 27, was driving on I-84 when his car drifted into the right shoulder and collided with a trailer. Liska was taken to Danbury Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

The two passengers in the vehicle to which the trailer was attached did not suffer any injuries, however the car suffered damage to its rear bumper and axle.

Liska's car also sustained heavy damage.
