BETHEL, CT — The Bethel Police Department has welcomed a new officer to its ranks. Ryan Tharas was hired in June of 2016 after graduating from the Connecticut Municipal Police Academy, according to a police Facebook post Monday.
Tharas has been assigned to the patrol division and has successfully completed field training.
