Police Blotter: Man Arrested After Violating Ex's Protective Order

According to the latest release from the Bethel Police Department, a man wouldn't stop calling an ex-girlfriend who had placed a protective order.

According to report, Steven Lane, 49, of Westview Drive was arrested on one charge of Criminal Violation of a Protective Order. Police say Lane's ex-girlfriend reported he had been repeatedly calling her on her work phone in violation of the court-issued order.

Lane was released on $5,000 surety bond and appeared at Danbury Superior Court on January 11.
