Richard Gere Introduces His Holiness the Dalai Lama at WCSU

Actor Richard Gere, who said he met the Dalai Lama 30 years ago, introduced His Holiness at Western Connecticut State University's Westside Campus Thursday in the first of his two lectures.

The Dalai Lama will speak Friday at 9:30 a.m., so expect delays on Mill Plain Road and downtown near Kennedy Avenue.
