Town of Bethel Announces Job Opening

The position of Purchasing Agent/Accounting Assistant is now available with the Town of Bethel.

BETHEL, CT — The Town of Bethel recently announced on their website that they are hiring for the position of Purchasing Agent/Accounting Assistant. Job duties include purchasing, accounting, technical and specialized procurement of supplies, materials and services for all Town departments.

Candidates for the position must have an accounting or business administration degree or a degree in a related field as well as three years of experience in the procurement and/or accounting field or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. The position is for a 35-hour work week with full benefits.
Salary ranges between $42,500 – $47,500 annually depending on experience.
